Crossroads Elementary School Welcomes Students with Help from Coosa Valley Credit Union

Coosa Valley Credit Union helped welcome students, families, and educators to the new Crossroads Elementary School in Paulding County with a sweet start to the school year.

To celebrate the school's opening, the CVCU team delivered 300 Dunkin' donuts to the campus, personally handing them out to teachers, parents, and students as they arrived. The surprise gave everyone an opportunity to pause, connect, and enjoy a treat during an exciting and busy first day.

As Paulding County's 20th elementary school, Crossroads Elementary represents a new chapter for students and families throughout the community. CVCU was proud to be there to help make the school's opening even more memorable.

"At Coosa Valley Credit Union, we believe that being part of a community means showing up for the moments that matter," said Kirby Buchanan. "Welcoming students to a brand-new school was a special opportunity, and we were excited to share a little kindness with the families and educators beginning this new journey."

Supporting local schools is an important part of CVCU's commitment to the communities it serves. From providing financial education opportunities to supporting teachers, students, and school programs, the credit union looks forward to continuing its partnership with schools across Northwest Georgia.

CVCU wishes the students, teachers, staff, and families of Crossroads Elementary an exciting and successful school year!
