Community, connection, and giving back were at the heart of Coosa Valley Credit Union's very first Valley Vibez event, hosted at our Canton Branch. What began as an exciting new community gathering quickly became an unforgettable evening filled with support, appreciation, and generosity for the Cherokee 911 Foundation.
The event brought together an incredible crowd of local leaders, first responders, members, and citizens from across Cherokee County — all united for one important cause: supporting the hardworking men and women behind Cherokee County's 911 operations.
We were honored to recognize Shane Bonebrake and his dedicated team for the tireless work they do every single day to serve and protect our community. Often working behind the scenes, 911 dispatchers are the calm voices in moments of crisis, providing life-saving assistance and support when it matters most. Valley Vibez gave our community the opportunity to show appreciation for these everyday heroes and the impact they make throughout Cherokee County.
The turnout exceeded all expectations, and the energy throughout the evening was a true reflection of what makes our community so special. Seeing local businesses, community leaders, and residents come together with a shared purpose was inspiring and a reminder of the power of community partnerships.
Thanks to the overwhelming support from everyone involved, Coosa Valley Credit Union was proud to donate $1,000 to the Cherokee 911 Foundation. These funds will help support the foundation's ongoing mission to provide resources, assistance, and encouragement for Cherokee County's 911 professionals.
