Coosa Valley Credit Union Provided Lunch for Cartersville City School's Bus Drivers

At Coosa Valley Credit Union, supporting our community goes beyond financial services—it's about recognizing the people who keep it running every single day. To kick off Teacher Appreciation Week 2026, we were proud to deliver lunch from a beloved local favorite, Doug's Place, to the dedicated bus drivers of Cartersville City Schools.

While Teacher Appreciation Week shines a well-deserved spotlight on educators, we believe it's equally important to recognize the many individuals who support students behind the scenes. Bus drivers are among the hardest-working members of any school system, ensuring students arrive safely and on time—often before the school day even begins and long after it ends.

From early mornings to late afternoons, in all kinds of weather, these professionals demonstrate consistency, care, and responsibility. Their role is critical to the daily success of students and families across Cartersville.

To show our gratitude, Coosa Valley Credit Union catered lunch from Doug's Place, a well-known local restaurant, as a way to give back and say "thank you." Supporting local businesses while serving those who serve our community is something we take pride in.

The lunch was more than just a meal—it was a moment to connect, share appreciation, and recognize the vital role these drivers play in the education system.

As a credit union rooted in community values, Coosa Valley Credit Union has a long-standing connection to educators. Teacher Appreciation Week 2026 provided the perfect opportunity to extend that appreciation beyond the classroom—and onto the buses that help students get there.

To all Cartersville City School bus drivers: we see you, we appreciate you, and we thank you. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we're honored to support you.
