On December 12, 2025, Coosa Valley Credit Union proudly partnered with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office and Paulding Cop for Kids, Inc to support one of the county's most meaningful holiday initiatives — Cops for Kids — held at Walmart. This was the event's 27th year in operation.
This heartwarming event brought smiles, hope, and holiday cheer to 201 local children, reinforcing the true spirit of community during the Christmas season. Thanks to money raised - more than $52,000 was spent to make their holidays brighter.
The event was led by Paulding County Sheriff Ashley Henson and Lt. Tracy Brown, whose continued dedication to community outreach has made Cops for Kids a cornerstone program for families in need across the county.

Through the efforts of the Sheriff's Office and local partners, Paulding County Cops for Kids provides children with the opportunity to shop for clothing, toys, and essential items alongside law enforcement officers and volunteers — creating positive experiences, strengthening trust, and ensuring every child feels valued during the holidays.

Representing Coosa Valley Credit Union, Kirby, Bethani, and Joshua volunteered their time and hearts to help bag toys at the checkout lanes. The volunteers worked hand-in-hand with deputies and event organizers to ensure each child felt supported, celebrated, and excited for the holiday season.

At Coosa Valley Credit Union, community involvement goes beyond financial services — it's about showing up, giving back, and investing in the people we serve. Events like Cops for Kids reflect the shared values of compassion, service, and partnership that strengthen our local communities.
By supporting initiatives led by the Paulding County Sheriff's Office, Coosa Valley Credit Union remains committed to making a positive difference — not only during the holidays, but all year long.
