Coosa Valley Credit Union was proud to be a sponsor of this year's Bartow County and Cartersville Special Olympics, held at Woodland High School. It was an incredible day filled with energy, encouragement, and community spirit as students from across the area came together to compete and celebrate their achievements.
As the official t-shirt and water sponsor, we were honored to help make the day a little more special—providing event shirts that allowed each student to represent their school with pride, along with plenty of water stations to keep everyone refreshed throughout the day.
Our team was grateful to be hands-on during the event, with Kelly O and Joshua Walls volunteering at the water stations, cheering on athletes and helping keep the day running smoothly. Moments like these remind us what it truly means to serve our community.
One highlight of the day was Ezra from Clear Creek Elementary, who proudly stopped by to show off his medals. His excitement and joy perfectly captured the spirit of the Special Olympics—celebrating determination, hard work, and the thrill of accomplishment.
We're thankful to be part of such an inspiring event and look forward to continuing to support the incredible students, families, and organizers who make it all possible.
